View route detailsThe exploration of Lombardy’s granite continues, and the two shady characters from the previous day meet again in Piazzale Corvetto, once again at 6 a.m. Since the parking meter in Val di Mello is broken, to avoid any trouble we walk up from the sports center. A nice and pleasant climb takes us to the top of the Scoglio delle Metamorfosi, from which we decide to descend by abseiling. On this scorching hot day, a refreshing foot soak in the “Bidet della Contessa” is a must! On the way back to the car, Lucio—very enthusiastic—tells me about his wish to go and see some of the walls in the upper part of the valley (coming soon to these pages…).
