View route detailsWe set off with the idea of doing a little outing on that infamous Ambrusogn (who knows if I’ll ever manage it…), but from Cencenighe we realize that the wall in question is more of a swimming pool than a mountain, so we look for an alternative. What to do? We don’t have any route descriptions for nearby climbs! Brilliant idea from Saverio: on Grill’s website there’s a new route listed on the Moiazza Group! Using my phone, I send the PDF to the print shop in Agordo and before long we have our topo. The next morning is freezing cold, but the sky is completely clear. After a short warm-up jog, we’re at the base, and it’s striking to realize that in the sun it even feels warm! The route is beautiful, and not typical of Grill’s bolting style. The traverse is not straightforward and must be carefully searched for by moving up and down to link the climbable sections of the wall.
