View route detailsWe set out with the plan to climb one of the peaks above Passo San Giacomo from Val Bedretto, with the idea of checking out the snow on the north face and possibly making a nice steep descent. The face of Punta d'Elgio looks perfect: the usual exposed rocks at the base aren't visible, and the plan comes together right away. Too bad about the light crust on the less steep section—great tour!
