After spending an entire day with Lorenzo deciding which route to suggest—weeding out the least suitable ones from a long list—we end up picking one at random from outside the list. The gigantic hamburger I had for dinner makes it hard for me to keep up with Lorenzo, who sets off running down the trail toward the mountain hut. All three of us wake up at the same time: it sounds like the apocalypse is descending from the sky... luckily, it’s just the tin roof amplifying the sound of a light drizzle. Everything is dry by morning. So we set off on a stunning, fun, and well-equipped route. A beautiful day with a fitting conclusion to the Insonnia restaurant in Forno di Zoldo.
