View route detailsIt took quite a while for this project to become a reality... maybe five years, but it’s always difficult to coordinate everyone’s schedules, free time, mountain conditions, and the weather. The route is quite long, but on the way back we discovered some shortcuts. Currently, there’s enough snow to carry skis on your shoulders for about half an hour. We did the loop, passing in front of the Campo Tencia hut, and then descended the couloir. The ascent from the waterfall side is certainly faster and more direct, but the longer route is worth it for the variety. We found the snow quite hard, but still good for skiing. The couloir is exactly as wide as my skis at the entrance and requires skidding for about 30 meters, then you can ski down. A beautiful, long day with Andrea in adventure mode.
