View route detailsAfter what feels like forever, here are a couple of photos… The day promises to be extremely cold with exceptional snow conditions, so we decide to head away from the most popular destinations to avoid having to compete for space. The ascent is quite intricate due to vegetation in the lower section, but it is rewarded by the wide open terrain higher up. We take a break just below the pass, where Jack surprises us by pulling out a glass bottle of beer, followed by a descent on excellent snow, which soon turns into a second section of wild skiing through alders and drops in a dense forest. How good it is to be back in the mountains!
