View route detailsThe plan for the weekend isn’t great: a Saturday afternoon at the crag to try to meet some local climbers, and a Sunday MTB ride that I’ve planned but never actually done. Then Michele calls and invites me to his birthday at the Rifugio Agostini, with climbing on Sunday: I have two hours to get everything ready, including the bike for the approach and gear to sleep outside since the hut is fully booked. I arrive on time at the meeting point and, after a few small hiccups, we set off. The climb really puts even e-bikes to the test, and mine—whose batteries are in my legs—forces me to push for 8 out of 10 km. After a generous dinner we go to sleep in front of the little church, with rather confused ideas about what we’ll do the next day. At 5:20 it’s already light, and we wake up. I pick a route called Goduria: the guidebook says, “The name says it all about this route, which has become one of the wonders of the Brenta.
