I have never published content related to the Aspirant Guide course, but I would like to make an exception here to celebrate an important moment: the end of the final exam of the second level. After a restless night—both because of the not-so-sturdy dormitory beds and the apparent complexity of the route we were about to undertake—we head up towards the Pavillon by cable car, which, just to add a bit of extra tension, is not running on time… In reality, all worries are unnecessary: the climb is logical and beautiful, the weather pleasant, and soon we see the Torino Hut reappear on the horizon. This is only a stage in a long journey: I often fool myself into thinking that an arrival is a finish line, but it is always also a starting point…
