Marco "Marco" Bonamore
I’ve always loved the mountains. I took my first steps—and made my first ski runs—as a very young child with my father in the mountains of Val di Rhemes, the place that feels like home to me. In high school, I started climbing and discovered a pastime that has never ceased to fascinate me—in fact... it obsesses me more and more. I’ve been hitting the mountains with Filippo since his early days in mountaineering, exploring the classic climbs of the Grigne with a few tentative forays toward the 4,000-meter peaks of the Aosta Valley. From there on, our paths diverged a bit: he dedicated himself body and soul to high-level mountaineering, while I continue to prefer the search for the perfect single-pitch route. Despite our different fields of activity, we are two friends bound by a great shared passion that leads us to share moments and climbs that will be hard to forget.
