Saverio "Saverio" De Toffol

I first got in touch with Saverio on the PlanetMountain forum to ask about a rough route that, on his advice, I decided not to climb. We then decided to meet up on an easy route, the “Diedro del Terrore” at Militi, which cemented us as an excellent climbing team. Saverio, in addition to having climbed all the classics in the Dolomites, is a huge fan of ice climbing, even though he says ice bores him very quickly. On this terrain, he performs at his best, unleashing his boundless strength. It seems obvious that toboggans (as he calls icefalls rated below 5) give him sciatalgy. He’s a huge fan of Stenghel and has a vast collection of mountaineering books.
